Metal Sign Colors & Sizes - How They Compare
Metals signs are a great way to personalize your indoor and outdoors spaces. What size sign works best for your space? We can all break out our measuring tapes to determine exactly what works. But as they say, a picture is worth a 1,000 words. If you are like us, a visual representation really helps to figure out scale. Here are pictures using 1 sign design in all 5 sizes on our home's front door for scale. As a bonus, each sign is in a different color so you can see the metal finish options as well!
The sign used in these pictures is the Personalized Deer Scene Metal Sign. Since these aren't permanent placements, we used fishing line with a picture hanging hook to hang each sign.
First up is the 12" sign in white. This sign is perfect for smaller spaces. You could also use a plate holder/stand to display it on a shelf or mantle.
Although you can't tell in the picture, the white metal finish does have a texture to it in person.
Next we have the 15" sign in copper. A little larger, it's still a good sign for smaller spaces. The color of the sign doesn't show up as well in the first picture due to the glare from the sun. However the second picture gives a better representation of the color. Like the white, the copper finish does have a texture as well which you can see in the 2nd image.
Next is the 18" sign in gold. Not too small, not too large, this size is the versatile medium size of the line. Perfect for many indoor and outdoor spaces, it's a great size for displaying your metal art. The gold finish is flat, it doesn't have a texture.
Next up is the 24" sign in silver. Whereas the 1st three signs increased in size by 3 inches each time, this time we jump up in size by 6 inches. This sign would work for a larger area. The silver finish is flat, it doesn't have a texture.
Finally we have the 30" sign in black. Up another 6 inches in size, this sign needs a larger area to be showcased on. The metal would be elegant indoors or outdoors. This size is perfect for being seen from a distance. The black finish is flat, it doesn't have a texture.
